Within 48 hours, you will receive and email with an invitation to contribute to the design of the site.

Simply accept the invitation, create a squarespace account (or use the existing one and the website will be yours!

why is it free? Honestly - the answer is two fold: I think everyone deserves a beautifully powerful website, and also - I’m a Squarespace affiliate so I get a little somethin-somethin from them when you activate your account.

Squarespace charges hosting fees. These fees cover the cost of maintaining “the back end of the site” and taking care of all of the glorious humans on the Squarespace team that work tirelessly to keep updating features, make the platform better for us and keep everything safe and secure.

The fees vary depending on the package that you choose but I strongly encourage you to pay the fees annually rather than monthly.

First of all, they give you a pretty good discount when you pay your hosting fees for the year upfront. Secondly, I personally get an extra 25% off the first year - which I pass along to you so in most cases, you’ll be paying less than half the amount that you would if you paid them annually. Lastly, I only get my affiliate payment if you pay the dues annually so show a girl some love :)

I usually encourage clients to go with the CORE package (It says “MOST RECOMMENDED”). The annual dues for that package are usually around $207.

I have created a library of short, easy to follow training videos that will help you add your logo, change your color palette and fonts, add your own photos and verbiage… pretty much everything that you need to know to make the template yours.

I started building Squarespace websites in 2018 and was onboarded almost immediately as a Squarespace Authorized Trainer.

In this role, I was trusted by Squarespace to offer workshops and private training to anyone and everyone that wanted to learn more about the platform.

I was even selected as one of two designers that they made Employee Educators - meaning that she and I were responsible for actually teaching Squarespace employees how to build their first Squarespace website as part of their onboarding employee training!

When they started The Squarespace Marketplace in 2019, I was selected as one of the first round of Experts to use the Marketplace and was asked to provide training to other designers.

Squarespace has had me take the stage multiple times at Circle Day - their annual conference for website designers. They have featured me in several video series, blogs and YouTube videos and even selected me to teach a lesson in their “Be a Web Designer” free online course.
